There are powerful structures that prevent many refugee men from realising their potential in Greece, which are difficult to change.
Our organization is dedicated to helping in these situations to increase opportunities.
OUR NEEDS
Day to day management
Managing one’s own responsibilities is one way to improve problem-solving skills and increase autonomy.
Unfamiliar and complex, Greek social systems can be extremely frustrating to navigate.
We aim to help with daily money management, social security and health insurance, providing access to legal advice and finding where to manage different daily needs.
Education and employability
Developing a new skill set influences self-perception and increases motivation to move forward.
Also, appropriate training widens possibilities for employment opportunities.
We aim to provide access to formal education, extracurricular courses and literacy.
Employment and entrepreneurship
The final step towards autonomy is financial independence.
To achieve it, we can help with CV and cover letter elaboration, online applications, interview preparation with the Asylum Service or other greek services and giving support for entrepreneurs.
HOW DO WE DO IT?
Restoring independence and autonomy
